根據哈佛GSAS的網站，Harvard在2021年4月推出
世界第一個PhD in Quantum Science and Engineering
該計劃在Harvard Quantum Initiative之下
預計於2022年秋季開始授課，第一批博士生可能招入35到40人
主要的學生預期可能有物理、電機、工程、材料、資工與化學背景
但也不僅限於上述領域
