East Asia's Digital Landscape (hereafter referred to as ‘research project’)
is led by the Open Culture Foundation, a non-partisan, non-profit
organization founded in 2014 by open technology communities based in Taiwan.
The primary objective with this research project is to elevate global
awareness concerning the state of digital rights in East Asia. Additionally,
by emphasizing shared concerns and topics among civil societies spanning the
region, our aim is to facilitate the establishment of cross-border
connections among activists.
