In the monster of the "Party", the negative force of "dissidence" must
recognize in an entity on which hangs its own ontological consistency,
an entity that confers meaning upon its activity--in other words, its essence.
Apropos of the "cunning of Reason", the crucial gesture of the dialectical
approach is to exhibit the "positive" (enabling, "productive") dimention that
pertains to the Negative as such; to grasp how what appeared at first a purely
negative (impeding) agency functions as a positve "condition of posibility"
of the entity it impedes.
