Covary是從數學用詞covariant, covariation衍生而來的動詞，意指"協變" or "共變，
" meaning to vary together。
To vary together means that, as one variable changes in value, the other also
tends to change in the same or opposite direction, depending on whether the
relationship is positive or negative.
