意思：

 to make sb feel much better.


eg: The warm water's actually done me a world of good.




ps: oxford 上面是寫 do sb/sth the world of good

    不過應該是沒有什麼分別。


ps2: 而相當有意思的是，根據 Wikitionary，world 一字的根源是 wer-ald，
     其中 wer 意為 man，ald 意為 age, life；
     wer-ald 意思就是 life / age of man。

     也因此，werewolf 之所以是狼人，
     將 were-wolf 一詞拆開 (were: man)，即可參透其意思了。
