Murray媽媽談Roger對Murray的影響

無意間在Roger官網看到有球迷轉述了Murray媽媽說的話~

Andy's mother apparently told Alex Corrextja that everything that is
happening to Andy now is all thanks to Roger Federer.She said that
his comments (taken totally out of context - her words - by the
media at the time) after the match in Dubai really affected Andy. She
said they stopped him in his tracks and made him realize all sorts of
things about himself and his tennis - things that she and AM's team
have been trying to get thru to him for years without success because
he is sooo stubborn! She said she was very grateful to Roger who has
been a great friend to Andy on the tour and spent a lot of time with
him. She says that Roger is probably the only person Andy really looks
up to!
大意是說，Roger在今年杜拜的賽後訪問影響了Murray。這些話讓Murray停下腳步
並且認清自己跟自己的網球，而這也是Murray 媽媽跟團隊一直在努力但卻沒有成
功的事情，因為Murray太固執了。然後說很高興Roger是Murray的好朋友，花很多
時間跟Murray在一起，也說Roger大概是唯一一個Murray真正欣賞的人。


然後我試圖找相關新聞的時候，發現Murray媽媽的一篇文章裡，

跟上面那段類似，杜拜的賽後訪問，讓Murray認清如果他想要贏得大比賽，就得要
打得更有侵略性。



老實說，這段話讓更佩服Roger了，
Rogi對於一個有天份的球員，能有這樣的影響力。
而且完全不吝於給予。
