[閒聊] 這…這怎麼翻？

裡面引用了他講的一段話：

請問各位高手會怎麼應對？


我知道聽不懂寧願不翻也不要亂翻

但如果是這種實在通篇不知所云  可是又要翻給國內觀眾聽的現場演講

口譯要怎麼處理？

不知道英美的政治人物怎麼說話，在這邊(澳洲)每個搞政治的人，說話都是這個樣子。

前面那篇沒有摘錄完整的上下文，所以很難聽懂。看一下這篇墨爾本報紙批評他說話
像機械人的文章會比較清楚：

such measures as making buildings and electricity transmission and generation
more efficient. He said: "There has to be a greater synergy between, let's
call it our policy leadership in this, which has been focused so much,
legitimately, on targets and global architecture, almost reverse-engineered
back to the means by which you can quickly deliver outcomes, and on the
demand side in our economy we're looking at potential advances in terms of 20
to 25% range if you do this across the board. It all takes cost, but let me
tell you it's probably the quickest lever you can pull given the challenges
we face."

面對當前的挑戰，這可能是我們能最快找到的法寶(有效手段)。

我不懂口譯，也沒有非常了解這段，但是這段應該是說
如果在各領域都實行某事，才會有20%~25%的進步。說是平均分散到各產業..
口譯通常一定得完全照著英文句子的順序說下來嗎? 中文會有點難懂。

這裡逆向工程是指什麼? 因為前文既然說 lowest hanging fruits
我猜他想講的是這麼一個架構複雜的工作最後卻好像執行逆向工程一樣的
回到了一些很簡單的，可以快速達到目標的方法？

真難懂。

reverse engineering 是一般知識，若要作口譯，wikipedia一下吧！

口譯不一定要照英文句子，我假設是要作同傳(同步口譯)，若作連續傳譯(說一段會停)
則整個句子可以重組，不用這麼譯。

lowest hanging fruits 是什麼意思？採水果，那一種水果好採，當然是那種不用爬上
爬下的低垂水果好摘。reverse engineering並不簡單，重點不在簡不簡單，而是你知道
結果，只想知道如何達成這樣的結果。就像你有了軟體，沒有原始程式碼，想要直接從程
式生出原始程式碼(有時可以)。

陸總理的演說很難懂，剛好我讀的是國際關係，所以平常多少有在注意這些主題，但也
不保證一定詮釋正確，而且翻成中文後不一定好懂。(不過我還是得承認目前我的中文越
來越沒台灣味，而且越來越口語化) :P
