東西方的文化差異極大，許多中文用法轉換成英文時要跳脫中文思維。今天研讀研究所恩
師著作Introduction to Chinese-English Translation(書林出版) ，看到一段很實用的
文字:
The student who sits down for an exam and says to himself “成敗在此一舉”
which, translated with formal correspondence, becomes “success or failure
depends on this,” a very clumsy and unidiomatic phrase.
A native English speaker would probably say, “This is it!” or “Here goes!”
這段文字說明：華人關鍵時刻常說”成敗在此一舉” , 老美則說“This is it!” 或“
Here goes!”。沒有聽過這樣的英文根本不可能會想到要這樣翻譯。
朋友您可能會問：有沒有實例證明呢?
