Well, it may sound funny but
I tried to translate English into simplified Chinese. >"<
The problem is that Simplified Chinese has lots of phrases that are
communism culture based.
Although I have been reading simplified Chinese news websites
for at least four years and
I can type Han-yu-pin-yin fluently.
It does not work out that way.
I was asked to translate English technical documents into simplified
Chinese. But the mainland Chinese coworkers are not satisfied.
They said because I did not study in any of mainland China's university's
mechnical engineering or physics undergraduate courses,
I did not know their common usage in those fields.
They are correct. I am not qualified.
If you think globally, now nations out there want to do business
with China much more than they want to do business with Traditional
Chinese using peoples.
This is a trend I cannot stop.
