前言：

基信板來一個隨堂小考吧！


推 theologe: df搞錯狀況的地方，變成一個智力測驗了....
推 theologe: 敢問老魚與其他看官，apollumi跟apoleia的差異，
→ theologe: 在於前者是annihilation（loss of being），
→ theologe: 而後者不是annihilation嗎？
→ theologe: （可能也是英文閱讀測驗吧XD）
這個問題需要搞這麼久嗎？XD
有些人11/9當天就瞭解了，
有些人拖到現在還搞不清楚狀況XD


本課的單字為以下三個：
.G622 apollumi 代表經文約3：16、太10：28
  --大家都同意這邊針對靈魂時指不得救/下地獄；
.G684 apoleia 代表經文太7：13--爭議點；
.ekmedenisis（G1842的同源字？） annihilation
                               =complete loss of being.
                               =a place or state of nothingness
                                or unconscious existence.
  --老魚再三引文強調G684「不是」annihilation，所以造成與G622的差異？

這個段落不是根本就把apollumi跟apoleia認為只是詞性不同、意思混用了嗎？XD
而老魚、neo似乎都把annihilation當成基督教普遍的地獄觀？

以下三個選項，請參考neo提供連結之引文，選出正確的：

1）neo是要否定引文，說apollumi不同於apoleia，是annihilation，故約3：16
"「　神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，
     叫一切信他的，不致滅亡（apollumi），反得永生。"
這邊apollumi是指不得救＝下地獄＝annihilation，

而apoleia不是annihilation，
故太7：13不是指約3：16的不得救/下地獄。


2）還是neo要同意自己引的文，說apollumi/apoleia都不是annihilation，
導致約3：16
「　神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的，不致滅亡，反得永生。
這邊的「滅亡」也不指"不得救＝下地獄＝annihilation"；


而neo這個資料前兩頁，是把annihilation、universalism，
與基督宗教「正統/普遍」的「地獄觀」並列。

所以選項第三個：
3）apollumi/apoleia都不是annihilation，用在靈魂上時，
   則都指向基督宗教非annihilation的地獄觀。

Destruction (684) (apoleia from apo = marker of separation, away from +
olethros = ruin, death but not annihilation) describes destruction, in this
case the utter ruin or complete loss which is epitomized by eternal
punishment.

As Jesus makes clear elsewhere, hell is not a place or state of nothingness
or unconscious existence, as is the Hindu Nirvana. It is the place of

weeping and gnashing of teeth” forever (see Mt 13:42, 50).

All people are created by God for His glory, but when they refuse to come to
Him "through the narrow gate" for salvation, they lose their opportunity for
eternal redemption and ultimately the opportunity of becoming what God
intended for them to be in Christ. At that time, they are fit only for
condemnation and destruction.

那到底差別在哪邊？--程度之別：complete？eternal？
上面老魚引的這段，apoleia沒有指稱complete、eternal嗎？
